The attention to detail inside and out is unparalleled, and the generous accompaniments upon arrival, make you feel special and incredibly welcome. Kangaroo Valley is beautiful and there are many bushwalks, waterfalls , country drives and leisure/sport activities in close proximity. Karen the owner, is extremely generous and provides an experience in Hampden House that I have never experienced prior in any other accomodation environment. You’ll have to see for yourself!

Karen’s property was amazing, like going back to my childhood visits to my grandfathers house. We were more than impressed from the moment we walked in. The local produce left for our use was delicious and the serenity of the location was amazing. We have spent 2 delightful days at Hampden House. The garden leading down to the river was stunning. The pool was warm and inviting. The house itself is a beautifully restored farmhouse with wide verandahs. The attention to detail is extraordinary. The furnishings and appliances are not only very attractive but everything works and has been thought of. From the coffee machine to the towels.
